Alachua County Library District is a public library system in North Central Florida, providing books, movies, music, research assistance, programs and more free of charge to residents of Alachua County. ​ The Newberry Branch Library serves the resident of Newberry and its environs. The branch opened in 1993, was remodeled in 2007 and extensively remodeled and expanded in 2015.
